integrates Intercede's MyID™ technology
RSA 2005 Conference, San Francisco,
California - February 14, 2005 - Intercede today announced that
its MyID™ smart ID issuance and management software is fully
integrated as part of Gemplus's SafesITe Corporate smart identity
management system, launched this week. The smart ID management
software, called SafesITe Manager, offers corporations a user-friendly
and easy-to-install solution for issuing and managing employee
credentials for network and building access.

SafesITe Manager automatically
integrates with the Microsoft® CA for information about, and
import of PKI certificates and LDAP Active Directories. It comes
configured with a standard set of pre-defined roles (ID holder,
Manager, Security Chief, Personnel, and Helpdesk), enabling Gemplus
customers to immediately start issuing and managing smart IDs.
SafesITe Corporate is a user-friendly
and readily deployable system that helps growing corporations
deploy and manage smart IDs in Windows® environments. The
system packages and pre-integrates Gemplus smart ID badges, cards,
USB tokens, desktop software, and readers with SafesITe Manager.
In addition, SafesITe Corporate offers an array of services ranging
from smart ID personalization and issuance to consulting and integration.
