Partnership announcement - Intercede to re-sell and incorporate WinMagic's disk encryption product SecureDoc™ with Intercede's MyID™ family of smart card-based identity solutions.

Lutterworth, Leicestershire, United Kingdom - Intercede Group plc, today announced that it has signed a re-seller agreement with WinMagic whereby Intercede will incorporate WinMagic's disk encryption product, SecureDoc, into their MyID™ family of identity and security solutions.

WinMagic's SecureDoc is a comprehensive disk encryption and access control product, providing full hard disk encryption and pre-boot authentication. SecureDoc's unique approach to disk encryption harnesses user keys and key files to enable a fully flexible approach to security management and recovery, without the vulnerability of "master passwords". Security is further enhanced through the use of smart cards which provide strong two-factor authentication. The product has achieved Common Criteria and FIPS 140-1 accreditation amongst its many accolades.
