Major telecommunications company to deploy Intercede’s edefice™ digital identity management system to support managed service customers

Intercede Group plc, a leading developer of digital identity management software, is pleased to announce that a major European telecommunications company will be deploying a service provider version of Intercede's edefice electronic identity management software (edefice SP) in support of their corporate customers.

The corporate customers will use edefice SP to register and manage individuals who are authorised to use on-line services, and to subsequently issue, update and revoke associated digital certificates, security tokens, smart cards and other digital credentials. Edefice SP uses a highly scaleable architecture capable of supporting large numbers of users in single or multi-enterprise situations.

This contract, which includes a commitment to the value of £460,000, will be completed within twelve months.
