Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Intercede is pleased to announce that it has appointed Royston Hoggarth as a non-executive director of the Company, with effect from 5 August 2002.

Royston Hoggarth, aged 40, is currently Group Marketing Director of Logica plc, a position he has held since December 1997. Mr Hoggarth is directly responsible for the strategic development of Logica's business. Royston has been supervisory managing director for Mobile Networks and Consulting and now has responsibility for Logica's businesses across Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Logica, Mr Hoggarth spent 13 years working for IBM in a variety of roles, culminating with the position of Managing Director of IBM's retail products division worldwide, which had sales of approximately £750 million and over 2,000 staff.
